​The Re-shaping of Things​

In summer 2025, Galleri Kronborg presented the group exhibition The re-shaping of things, in collaboration with the Bergen Art Academy. Eighteen BA and MA students each contributed a painting in the format 8 x 10 cm, produced as part of the course The Shape of Things – painting, fiction and storytelling (2024).

 

The works explored the relationship between painting, fiction, and historical imagination, and the exhibition was accompanied by a larger curated public program. Beyond this, the project offered students the opportunity to experience their work in a professional setting outside of the school environment, expanding their sense of audience and context.
